Hillary Savage is a Shreveport, Louisiana Artist working in the mediums of drawing, painting, and printmaking. She has lived in Louisiana and Arkansas for 23 years, and her work reflects her exposure to nature during this time. While she enjoys pulling inspiration from nature, she is also interested in the idea of relationships and the feelings and ideas people attach to everyday objects.
She received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Louisiana Tech University with a minor in Art History. While in school, she was accepted into multiple student shows.
Hillary has been accepted to numerous Juried exhibitions, including a nationally juried show at the South Arkansas Art Center, juried by David Houston, the director of the Bo Bartlett Center, College for the Arts at Columbus State University, Georgia.
She has also traveled abroad to Barcelona Spain to participate in an artist residency at Art Print Residence. There she explored the textures of the Spanish landscape and culture to make a series of prints that reflected her experience.
